The following workshops were held every two year:
the third one - in September of 1990 (near Ekaterinburg) the fourth one - in September of 1992 (in Chelyabinsk region) the fifth one - in September of 1994 (near Kazan)
The next, sixth workshop is going to be held together with the Rostov State University in the settlement Djurso (on the coast of the Black Sea) in September 1996.
1. The problems of construction of grid generation algorithms, including the aspect of parallelizing calculations for multi-processor systems.
2. Tests for algorithm and programmes of grid generation. Criteria of grid quality.
3. Grid application for solving problems of mathematical physics.
4. Coordination of researches in the field of grid generation.
According to the participants' request it was decided not to limit the sphere of interests only by the problems of grid generation and to invite to the workshop the leading scientists of the country, so that they could make review lectures on more general problems of computational mathematics.
